My name is Jacob Fackrell and I’m a 5th grader at Hickory Elementary School in Bel Air. I have been nominated to represent my school and community at the National Young Scholars Program (NYSP).

The NYSP brings exceptional elementary school students to an interactive program. As you can see, this will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with other high achieving students in a challenging and education program.

Imagine if you had been given this opportunity for a life-changing experience when you were in elementary school and were unable to participate for lack of funds. That is why I’m asking for your help.

My participation in the program depends on whether I can raise $2129.00 in sponsorships. (The program tuition is $2069.00 and my travel and miscellaneous expenses will be $60.00.

I am hoping that you will assist me with all or part of these costs. My tuition must be paid no later than February 27, 2008.
